We are an independently operated Fly fishing & Light tackle guide service out of Orange Beach Alabama. Located between Pensacola Florida and Mobile Bay, Alabama. We fish a huge stretch of the Northern Gulf Coast looking for the best in sight-fishing.

What we do ...

We are available for year-round guiding service to fly fishers, novices to experts alike. Anglers seeking training and Kids are always welcome. We specialize in sightfishing light tackle and teasing fish into flycasting range. We can accommodate up to 2/3 anglers per day.

My name is Captain Clif Jones and I am the manager of Shallow Minded Outfitters. I am a South Alabam native with a lifetime experience in exploring the bays, creeks, shallow flats and the "Beach sides" of southern Alabama & the Northern Gulf of Mexico.

 Fishing in the cage! You will feel more secure and have the ability to  concentrate on casting, catching and seeing whats around you. Young and old alike love the cage. Our new skiff is awesome. Dry and stable. Lets face it, Im too old at 40+ to be uncomfortable. I like to enjoy myself. I think you will feel right at home on our East Cape Vantage flats skiff.
